Short’s Brew Soft Parade – fruit ale with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries 7.5% ABV
The Fermentor: This brew is definitely not sickly sweet like more mass produced berry beers can be. The alcohol does hit pretty heavy on the first couple of sips but overall a decent fruit ale if you are in the mood.
Demonwitch: This beer is tasty but lacks definition. It’s not too sweet or bitter but a little more of a sharp edge towards the end would make it a hit.

Spiteful Breeding Spiteful IPA, 6.2% ABV
Demonwitch: This IPA has great punch and full flavor. It’s a little hazy and slightly sweet, but finishes bright with hop bitterness present from top to bottom.
The Fermentor: This IPA has heavy cream ale vibes. It’s light and low on bitterness. This brew is just an overall easy drinker. After half a pint, you start to notice that the sweetness lingers a little too long giving the dreaded thick spit.

Great Lakes Lemon Heffenweizen 5.1% ABV 25 IBU’s
Demonwitch: This brew has an interesting flavor that first starts bright and juicy and fades towards the peak, finishing clean with lemon zest bitterness.
The Fermentor: This hefeweizen starts with a bright crispy flavor that could really use a bit more carbonation to make it a great brew, but it’s still super fresh for a hot day. I was a little taken back that the lemon flavor was really the flavor of lemon drop candies than an actual lemon, but surprisingly that didn’t ruin it for me.
