EP put together with the outtakes from the Midnight Madness And Beyond LP session, mostly mid-tempo tunes, feels almost like a different band from the first LP, trying a little more musically wise, it lacks a little bit of the teeth previously shown.

By the time this record released, GBH just dropped the “charged” suffix and they are concentrated on doing their thing. Aware of their fundamentals, they seem to hold the UK82 sound in one of its most purest presentations, and while I wouldn’t put this, or the LP that spawned as their best example of it, it’s certainly an evolution, of sorts, in the style and the band, that still plays and performs to this day.
