It’s really hard to pick apart this record considering that this is a pioneering band on the genre on a record that became one of their most renown LP’s, you can’t really add much about it, as for the must part much into it, this is a blueprint for the style, while departing from the more somber post-punk from their previous incarnation, builds up with a more dynamic beat creating an unfuckwithable combination of dance beats and post punk melody at the right angle.
Many have tried and still try to mimic this recipe failing into the troves of cheesy silky shirts and frizzled hair without getting it so sincere and rounded.
