Folk unit heavily influenced by Andes, Latin and Quechua music. This style of folkloric ensemble became very prominent in the late 60’s in Latin America Assembled in Paris during the 60s by immigrants, sparked heavy interest for the genre. Soulful and nostalgic record, heavy and longing, it’s sounds carry the soul of diverse south american regions. what sets apart this type of group over the more popular sounds, relays in execution over rhythm, so most of this pieces have a longer verse-bridge-chorus take, resulting on somewhat melancholic music, even when the rhythm has become upbeat, there is a heaviness to it that seems to be deep in its soul.
